The one bright spot, the one shining light on the Rockies offense, and it's a bag of groceries and a flight of stairs that takes him down.

I suspect this means we'll be seeing a bit more of Eddy Garabito, and that once Miles returns he'll reassume his starting job at second base (that's bad) with Relaford moving to short. Also, I suspect Miles will be the leadoff hitter (that's really bad).

I'm positively miserable right now after hearing this news.

I know...

Someone posted in athleticsnation a diary about, "Best Injury (Trips to the DL) stories...hahaha!" and I was like, "Time to read some stories! Yay!" And it turns out to be about Clint Barmes and I'm like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! And now my life sucks officially.

He's on my real team!

I think that hurts a little more right now. I'd advise you to take Desi Relaford, though for fantasy purposes as he'll actually be more consistent on the road than Clint was anyway.
