With Choo Freeman headed to the DL the Rox promoted Jeff Salazar to AAA. He made his debut tonight.
I got to see it in person. I was impressed with most of his at-bats - doesn't look like he gets fooled on too many pitches, and had a really good eye. Works the count well. I liked his speed and his instincts in center field.
Will Salazar be ready to start in center and lead off for the Rox next year? Or is that a bit of wishful thinking on my part?
