Nice job D-Backs fans!!! Don't wory about throwing alcohol on us, we'll take care of that in a couple more days in OUR clubhouse!! Stay classy AZ. Who knows how bad it could have gotten if the place was sold out. Sheesh. 2-0 coming home? Hopefully the nation got to see how we could handle Webb who was supposed to win 3 games in this series. I didn't think that game would go so smooth but the Rox just keep on rolling. 3 double plays...that defense just handles everything and gets off the field. Can't wait for tomorrow.

I came to this diary to post a congratulatory message, but after reading the content, I most certainly will not.

Incidentally, it's much easier to get double plays when one of them is a gift from the umpire.

I'd also like to point out...

...that everyone was talking about this game as the toughest for the Rockies, even though Webb posted a 6+ ERA vs. the Rox this year. Everyone seems to be chalking up an automatic win tomorrow and on Sunday; except that Doug Davis' ERA against the Rockies over the last two years is 2.5, and Livan Hernandez's ERA against the Rox this year was 1.5.

Doug Davis was 1-2 (due to run support... that's why he lost like 7 games in a row early in the season) and Livan was 1-0.

What, you couldn't say some Arizona fans suck? Many are perfectly nice people, and some of us don't live in an area where going to the games is an option. Generalizations are always wrong.
