I was wrong!/25 Man roster

Admit and will gladly feast crow.  Glad to see the team come of age down the stretch.  I have slammed Hurdle and O'Dowd for years but their formula has began to pay dividends.

My only request is no Ortiz and Julio on the postseason roster and a strong vote for Seth Smith to be on the 25 man.

Here is my take on the 25 man roster:

Pitchers:

Francis
Fogg
Morales
Jimenez
Bucholz
Herges
Hawkins
Fuentes
Corpas
Speier
Affeldt (over Morillo)

Catchers:

Ianetta
Torrelaba

Infielders:

Helton
Matsui
Tulo
Atkins
Carroll
Baker

Outfielders:

Holliday
Spillborghs
Sullivan
Hawpe
Smith
Taveras

Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

Last spot
I think the last 2 spots come down to Seth Smith, Ian Stewart and Jeff Baker.

I'm guesssing that Ian Stewart will be the odd-man out......but that's my guy feeling.

Amazing
we were ready to ship Atkins out a couple of months ago and now he lookseven more irreplaceable.

You may see Ian as trade bait for a starter in the off season.  I think the Rocks have sourced on him as he made many errors in CS and seems to lack plate discipline.

I am for a trade of Stewart, Koshansky, Julio, Fuentes and Baker to Tampa Bay for Baldelli and Kazmir.

no hard feelings
as someone who has argued with you constantly on here, i gotta say, way to own up to being wrong.  not rubbing your face in it or anything.  just saying, as one of the people around here who was most optimistic at the beginning of the season and through the bad stretch in april/may, it's good to see one of the pessimists (and let's be honest, you were very pessimistic at times) man up and say they were wrong.  i'm just glad the rox are moving on... winning has a way of making everything ok.
rockies in october.
