How do I say this?

When I got into work today, one of my two bosses came to my desk to "check up" on me. The notion that my beloved Rox had lost the first two games of the Series had somehow left me on the disabled list was clearly visible on her face. I assured her that I was perfectly OK, and got to work. But the whole idea of this "check up" stuck with me.

We know about Hurdle's daughter. We know about #64. We know about Katrina. We know about the fires in California.

This is just baseball. Countries will not rise or fall based on the outcome, nor does the future of mankind as we know it.

Silverblood's resignation had a profound affect on me. You can read my reply to that post to understand why.

Not saying we shouldn't be passionate about our Rox. But please, let's remember. It's just baseball.

Thanks.
