Scouting Report / Bio: With Corey Wimberly and Jonathan Herrera ticketed for Tulsa, Macri will presumably move back to third-base in 2007.  Macri endured a miserable season in 2006, hitting .233 before his season was ended by a broken hamate bone in July.  Macri has shown below average range for a middle infielder and is probably best suited for 3rd base. He is a steady line-drive hitter with a good sense of plate discipline.  Macri was an average defender at third-base while at Notre Dame and owns a strong, accurate arm.

Future Outlook: Major league or Triple-A utility-man. Needs to stay healthy.
