I Can Now Die A Happy Man

Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies. Thank you, Rockies.

It felt great at the end of the game to take my cap off, twirl my arms a bit and then get booed.

Simply Amazin'.

On a different note, those Draft Profiles will resume on Monday. We ran into a little road block this week.

And if any of you are interested in the NFL Draft from an AFC West perspective, head on over to Mile High Report for all the info you need on an AFC West round table radio show.

Oh yeah....
That was awesome. There were so many kids at the park today, I could yell whatever I wanted without fear of reprisal, and I did. :D

The one annoying thing about
those school kids had to be the chants they started the first couple of innings. Even all the way down at the field level the people were groaning.

Oh yes.
My friend and I were remarking to each other the whole time, "Maybe they'll get bored and shut up." Or, "Geez, there's a lot of game left and the Mets aren't even batting." But since they were being so noisy, I was free to shout and yell as much as I pleased, so I did.

There was so much to cheer
today for the Rockies that I'm losing my voice now. It was well worth it, even if I'll have a hard time participating in class discussion tomorrow.

AFC West
I have no idea what to expect from my Chiefs at 23, but my gut says they'll do what they do every year and draft someone out of left field.

But the SC guy in me wants them to take Jarrett, even though that's probably a bit high for a guy that doesn't project to be a number one receiver.

In SBN's own mock draft
Jarrett went 30th so 23 probably is a little high for the guy. But I'd encourage you to join in on the fun at nowlive.com and ask those guys in either the chat room or a call in about where they think Jarrett'll wind up.

And on TSG's other show, The Sports Report, we will eventually have Rockies talk or I'll just call in to talk with the guys about baseball in general. But not this weekend, since they'll be covering the draft for the entire hour.

Russ,
are you also TheSportsGuru over at MHR?  (apologies if I missed the memo on that one...)

Actually it's
Rox Fan in NY.

But no, that's not me. I wouldn't be able to do as great of a job as TSG does.

My bad
my brain has been trained to read "Russ" when I see your old Purple Row handle.

The Guru does a fine job over there.  It's interesting to see the contrast in styles of both the Guru and rox girl, who are both very proficient in their respective skill sets.

I'm trying to
get my handle changed to Russ over there.

But for anyone that doesn't know what David brought up, I was originally "Rox Fan in NY," changed to "Russ in NY" sometime in September last year, I believe, and settled on "Russ" a little while later.

Newbie
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm a Rockies fan here on Long Island New York.

Nice game yesterday... I HATE the Mets (I have been a Yankees fan since before the Rox existed, and I remain loyal to them although I live and die by the Rox more). Good to see everyone bust out. It was cathartic!

Shout out to Russ... KEEP THE FAITH BRO!

Rockies in 2007, World Series or Bust!

Welcome to the Row
I'm pretty wet behind the ears here as well but I'll tell you once you get on here you get addicted
Clint Barmes pops out to third with the bases loaded to end the inning.

Right...
I know the feeling.  When this is the first website that you check in the morning, that's when you know you've gone beyond addiction.
