27-22

to win the west this year i think we need 86 wins.... i did the math and to accoompolish that we need a 27-22 record form today 8/8/07. even if we dont get in with 86 wins its still a great season i think we can go 27-22 we have the talent i guess only time will tell.

EVERY TEAM GOES 54-54 ITS WHAT U DO WITH THE OTHER 54 THAT COUNTS.....the last loss in atlanta was 54 in my oponion was our most important loss cause in a sense was our last "free loss" now all the losses count towards a little more consider it a 54 game season right now.... HERE WE GO

Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

I doubt it....
I really think it will take more than that.  Probably more like 90.  Regarding this, this website is kind of fun...
http://www.baseballprospectus.com/statistics/ps_odds.php

It places the current odds of the Rockies making the playoffs at near 30%, which actually isn't too bad given the number of teams competing for a few spots.

If you click on the Rockies, you can follow
how these percentage changed over the season.

For example, the Rockies' chance of making the playoffs increased 7% just by winning last night's game.

Seems much higher than I would have thought for just winning one game.  I think it also includes all the runs scored last night as it projects out the future record using the pythag method.

Interesting stuff...
