Game #153: Jimenez vs Lowe

Stay connected for news and updates

If we want to crown this remarkable year with a trip to the postseason, we start the final ten games of 2007 in a position where the first four are virtual must-wins. Finishing a four game sweep of the Dodgers with a victory today needs to be followed by an equally impressive trip into Petco over the weekend. Losing to the Dodgers today allows them to tie us, and with a final trip to Chavez Ravine looming after San Diego, we'll likely finish in fourth place in the division. With a win, we go two games up on LA with nine left to play, and a third place finish becomes the most likely outcome. Win today and then somehow pull off a sweep of the Padres, then everything becomes a whole lot more interesting.

Go Rockies!
