-Casey Weathers will have his Tommy John surgery on Halloween.

- Colorado Springs Sky Sox manager Tom Runnells has been mentioned as a possible addition to Clint Hurdle's staff. Apparently he'll head to Denver on November 7 to meet with Hurdle. If he's going to be hired, why wait that long to announce it? (Of course, I don't know what's going on in any of their personal lives, so maybe they have committments that they won't be free of until then?)
