Once the box score goes live, I should be able to work out the Gameday address.

Renck says the lineup should look like this: CF Fowler, DH Ryan Spilborghs, 3B Matt Kata, 1B Jeff Baker, RF Sean Barker, SS Clint Barmes, LF Cory Sullivan, 2B Jayson Nix, C Michael McKenry.

Well, what a surprise.

Barmes struck out swinging after the Rockies scored two runs.

Would have liked to seen those throwing errors by Valencia and Gomez.

As if we don't have enough second basemen? ;) Also, spring Gameday is not known for reliability.

Just a change in appearance.

Rox Girl and I aren't going to suddenly become batty and start advocating the use of nuclear weapons to close out games. Unless you count the ball Manny throws to be a nuclear weapon.

I was going to advocate much use of

bunting and encourage the team to target a lot of scrappy infielders like David Eckstein with the new platform, also look into signing 38 year old players with lots of veteran intangibles, but nuclear weaponry? No.
