What's Up for Early Spring?

So spring reached first base here in Denver today. March the 2nd promises a return to winter, but God, it was sweet to sit in the sun and enjoy the warmth. As I know that all of us are counting the days until March 31, I thought it might be fun to open a thread about spring coming, what's on the agenda for the rest of you for the remainder of March while we wait on the official opening of the Major League Baseball season, and for me, the return home of the 2007 National League Champions.

I've got a few things scheduled: order some plants to arrive in May when it's safe to plant them; get the ceiling fixed in the basement where a very old pipe blew out this winter and ruined the felt on my pool table; replace said felt (again); get the dog groomed; clean out my fridge. The fridge cleaning scares me the most. I always put it off, and I'm always sorry. Yecccccccccccch.

What's up for the rest of you?

Too Far
March 31 is too far away for me. Between now and then I will go to Spring Training, March 10-14. Since I am a college student I have homework to do during this period of time. I also have tests in Organic Chemistry and Material & Energy Balance. These last two are the main focus for me although I probably pay too much attention to baseball and the Rockies.

Well...
I'll be in school, working, dancing, working with my dad on our show, and choreographing some of the school musical. And over spring break, I'll be hanging out with Silverblood, playing catch (with baseballs or footballs, either one), and sleeping. A lot.
I'm heading for Columbia University next year!!!!

I'm also a college student
so I'll be doing work, going home to Colorado from Mar. 15-30 for spring break, hanging with Squeaky, buying too much music and coffee, and doing more work, hanging out with my friends, and staring fixedly at a Gameday which refuses to update for my pleasure.
"Everyone was running up to me, saying, 'Manny! Manny!' I signed a lot of autographs and got to eat for free. It was bueno."

I am a GRAD student
And I am heading to Tucson for Spring Training March 10-14. And I haven't been this excited about a trip in a LONG time.

Things I'm most excited to potentially see:

  1. Dexter Fowler doing ANYTHING.
  2. Greg Reynolds taking the mound
  3. More Jimenez and Morales
And Last, but Certainly not Least,

4. Troy Tulowitzki.

It's Tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time It's Tulowitzki!...Tulo-witzki-witzki-witzki ..... rockiesmagicnumber.blogspot.com
