Red Sox @ Oakland (in Japan)
Boston Red Sox at Oakland Athletics, Mar 25, 2008 4:05 AM MDT
This is to demonstrate to everyone here how game threads during the regular season will look like. This also is a timed post. I have it set to appear at 5:45 AM ET, so if you are on a computer around that time you should see this. If not, then something is wrong.
So, comment (if you're here and watching the game).

Hmm,
it posted at the right time, but there will be an automatic-updating boxscore in future game threads.

Pretty exciting MLB opener
I woke up when the game was in the bottom of the ninth, so I missed the Street blown save, but the game was still very exciting.
I despise Manny Ramirez, and his posing at home plate in the 10th when he hit that two run double just adds to the list of reasons why.
The A's nearly got to Papelbon in the bottom of the 10th, but Emil Brown made a baserunning gaffe after an RBI double where he was caught trying to go to third. Predictibly, the next two batters for the A's singled, only adding to how bad of an error it was on Brown's part.

Line score needs work
1. The A's were the home team (at least in theory).
2. The hit totals are reversed (7 for the A's, 11 for the Sux)

Yeah, that's
a problem on The Sports Network end. They provide the box score for us.
