While it might be still too early to push the panic button...

there is good reason to be concerned. I think a big part of our success last year was having a winning record against all of the other NL West teams. If we lose again today, we are in a 6-game hole to th D-Backs, and that will be vary hard to overcome.

Thank god for baseball season.

I would feel a lot better about this game...

If Hurdle wasn't just throwing out the same old lineup and expecting different results.

OH No

it's a shaken up line up....see Barmes is starting! That's WAY different!

Sign the Rockies still don't get any respect

MLB extra innings is joining the game in progress, just like last weekend.

Wow...

I mean, this is a major reason why the Rockies are struggling so much to start the year. Too many wasted opportunities.
Runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs, gotta get him home. Willy needs to be more patient up there.

Cook...

Nibbling too much IMO, he is doing a good job getting ahead early, but then is nibbling, then the count is 3-2.

Man, that was crushed! Lets tack on some more Hawpe!

by TehChamp on Apr 13, 2008 2:59 PM MDT   0 recs

Atkins still unlucky

he hits that anywhere else and its his first homer of the year. I'm sure he'll take the double, but that was crushed and should have left the yard.

It looked like he muttered something under his breath

he was mad, but he looked more mad at the situation than he was the person. I'm sure Gonzalez wasn't trying to load the bases for a decent hitting pitcher down 3-1.
