John Sickles has a decent report on a few of the Rockies prospects on the Drillers over at Minor League Ball.

I've never been that interested in the Minor League systems until a couple years ago, the work that Rox Girl does is great, just want to say thanks!

Also - I'm going down to a game in Colorado springs in a couple weeks. Does anyone have any advice? I've never been to a game down there.

There's not

a whole lot to do in the Springs; I spent 18 years of my life there, I should know. But Security Service Field is actually a nice ballpark for being 20 years old. Bring a jacket cause it’ll get chilly once the sun goes down behind the mountains. Oh, and the traffic light at Powers and North Carefree takes forever to give you a left arrow (this is just south of the stadium, in case you feel like going shopping or something) – it’s the longest light I know of down there.

Oh, and do you have seats in the lower section, where there are actual seats? That’s important; I’ve never liked the bleachers in the upper section.

Other than that, have fun! I’ve always loved a good ballgame out there.

Colorado Springs

I don’t know it well, but

Cowboys is a nice country bar…and my favorite part: they have a kareokee bar in the bar. Almost any country song you can think of. Love that….wished it wasn’t so far away.

What am going to do with all these "Jeff Baker for 2nd" bumper stickers?
