I'd like to see...
a switch up in the lineup like the first game kind of lineup. I think Tulo should be dropped or switched or something. Last year a change in scenery was what he needed. Instead, we get the same old same old:
1. Taveras
2. Tulo
3. Helton
4. Holliday
5. Atkins
6. Hawpe
7. Torre
8. Nix
9. Jimenez
Oh well…let’s just hope that this lineup starts producing, because it’ll probably be a familiar sight.

Lineup
I know this lineup is the one we will be seeing more and more… but i kinda liked friday’s lineup. Esp Tulo in the 5 hole.
Just thinking… maybe someday this lineup will be used.
1. Taveras
2. Nix(Barmes)
3. Holliday
4. Helton
5. Tulo/atkins
6. Atkins/tulo
7. hawpe
8. Torre
/ know the L/R don’t offset, BUT i think this would be a decent lineup
//I know Nix has to become decent at the plate. I wonder if Barmes overtakes him at somepoint this year. If Barmes does, then there is the possibility that TUlo could move to the 5/6 slot

But I don’t think it’s a wise idea to keep trotting this lineup out when the mix ups have worked so well. That’s entirely gut feeling, not a prediction.

U-ball can be dominant
I’m talking bonafide number 1 ace material, he just has to learn how to pitch, learn how to pound the strike zone, and learn how to pitch hitters differently their 2nd and 3rd times around and keep focus late in games.

with all these people playing if it wasn’t the same lineup over and over. I would MUCH rather have Iannetta in there, but what about putting Nix elsewhere in the lineup, moving Tulo, something? Maybe even switching them? They both need a change in scenery.

Efficient
Not a term that is applied very frequently to his pitching but it applies today so far.
Lets see how deep into the game he can pitch like this.
It would be great to have one hallmark performance for him to look back upon and for the coaches and catchers to be able to remind him of just what he is capable of if he pitches the right way.

It took quite some time for him to finally make the big leagues. He never hit real well in the. And he looks completely overmatched at the plate. I’d say Barmes has the everyday job for now.

Usually teams wait until the end of April to shake players up. I think Nix should be sent to AA Tulsa where he can hit normal balls. and Q should be brought up as the new Utility guy (not cause he’s good, but because he’s not bad AND left handed)

we’re all overreacting. Uball got unlucky on two weak grounders that sneak through and we’re throwing him under the bus. Yes, he let it get to him a bit, but come on, he’s still only allowed 3 through 5 innings and was dominant for the first two outs of the inning. Yes, he has a bit of a history of melting down, but let’s not blow a 2-run inning out of proportion. We’re still within one run.
