This is a song by Hoobastank called "Look Where We Are Now"
I believe this REALLY represents the Rockies situation last year and this year.

It starts out in what would be last year saying "I remember when this was a dream, but we worked and now we are here".
Then it goes to this year saying "We still have a long way, but we got better since last year"
