When you really think about it
I can’t say I could offer any disagreements. You’re right, with a formula of horrible starting pitching from 3 of the 5 rotation guys, an utter mess in the bullpen and usually 3 weak hitters in the lineup any given night things don’t look too promising.

Play with the Rockies on MLB 08 the show for ps3. It is much less stressful and a lot more fun. The Show is really a fantastic baseball game.

With all due respect to those who don’t like the negative tone on the Row lately, I wonder what the hell it is that we’re supposed to be optimistic about.

People will be living in a fantasy land too much longer. This team is bad right now and no it’s not fluke or bad luck. I’m a Rockies fan through and through and I will watch all the games regardless if they win 1 game or 120 but this team is brutal.

DENVER—An MRI on the sore shoulder of Rockies left-handed reliever Luis Vizcaino revealed inflammation but no extensive damage.
Vizcaino, 33, hasn’t pitched since April 2 and was placed on the 15-day disabled list after not being able to loosen up for a game against the Braves on April 5. He was throwing bullpen sessions and was scheduled to have a live batting practice session Saturday when soreness returned.
Rockies head athletic trainer Keith Dugger said the MRI confirmed that there wasn’t a major injury. But the Rockies are going to back away from having Vizcaino on a throwing program until the inflammation calms.
Here's my shot at optimism
Would anybody trade being say, 2-3 games behind the D-backs right now playing good baseball but still not knowing what you’re going to get for a full season for what we got to experience in September-October last year? I say no way. I will give the Rockies a pass this year for what they gave us last year. Take a freebie guys.

Dexter Folwer may be patrolling centerfield for us. Weathers, Reynolds, hopefully Hynick should be ready. Morales and U-ball will have a lot of time to figure out their mechanics. Yeah, I’d say 09 is the year of the Rockies.
