the Cardinals, made, plays, made throws. When Looper ran out of gas in the 9th Larousa, pulled him. The hitters actually were patient.

I’m angry at myself for missing it, but of course I was out with my parents celebrating my 24th birthday (a few days late, but I didn’t get in town until last night.) Go Rockies!

It sucks
Being at my parents’ house, playing the Cardinals… this is one of the few opportunities I have to watch the Rockies on a real TV instead of a computer screen. Ah, but with the afternoon game today, I get the flat-screen downstairs to watch the game.
I am an absolute idiot...
.....turned off the game in the 6th to watch “The Brave One” with Jodie Foster (it sucked). Can’t believed what I missed. Gonna watch the half-hour recap on FSN. You are all diehards….I am a crappy fairweather purple rower.
Winning
is better than losing. And Spilborgh’s facial hair is, without question, the best thing about the season so far. Outstanding, sir.
