He's the Australian centerfielder we signed this offseason
Russ originally linked the story out of Sydney, but it said he wasn’t expected to play for Casper until next year. He must be looking really good to get on the team sooner.

Including a little scouting report from somebody who say he’s uncorked a 101 mph throw from the outfield. That is a cannon.
That is some good stuff from
downunder. We seem to be getting some decent players their lately. Bright and Lindsay may be the only 2, but I like both of those guys. Sounds like this guy could be turned into a pitcher in the end, but if he’s got a power bat, I’ll take that too.

Could we possibly have bonus amounts added to the listing, when they areavailable. Might be tough for guys in the later rounds.
Friedrich signed
The Denver Post has a report up about Friedrich signing a contract that includes a 1.35 million dollar bonus.
Ringolsby's report
says the Rockies have only failed to sign only one of its first nine picks, Dominguez. That would mean that Roling has signed, and he says Weatherford will finalize next week.
He notes that Dominguez’ statements about returning to school came as a surprise. Perhaps the Rockies had falsely believed he would take their fifth round money? Either way, lets make him go back on his word, for our sake.
