Live the Dream
Ok, I have been a life long Rockies fan, and I wasn't allowed to enter the Live the Dream Promotion because of my age. I am currently 14, about to turn 15 and you have to be 18 years or older to enter. Not trying to dump on anyone or raise myself above them, but I know more about the Rockies then some older Rockies fans.
That just doesn't seem right and I was just seeing if you guys agreed with me or if it was me being short-sighted
Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

No
but I can’t really be in the Rockies Rookie Club because I live in Missouri and I moved from CO right after I turned 5.

It's just sweepstakes rules...
Almost every sweepstake I’ve seen, you have to be 18 or older to enter. I would guess you can have someone enter for you and say that they’re doing so for you.
www.notthisday.com ....coming September 26th and 27th at the Pinnacle Event Center, Denver.

When I was 14,
I always ended up sitting next to some extra large guy that took up his seat and half of mine. Then he’d sit there and blow cigarette smoke in my face for the entire game. When you’re 14, life is not fair.
BTW, when your 49 life still isn’t fair, but at least there’s no smoking in the ballparks.

I don't think it's not fair
The Rockies didn’t start their Rockies Rookie club until 1995 or so but I couldn’t join it because it was for those 14 & under, I was a teenager back in 1994 – 1999 so the only sweepstakes I had a chance of entering was their Jolly Rancher/Rainbow Batboy/Batgirl sweepstakes—I won it back in 1994 for June 4th & I group picture taken w/Danny Shaffer, the lil boy(forgot his name), Me & Dinger next to me I still have the tickets to the game as well as the letter the Rockies sent to me informing me that I won.
It was a fun time & sadly it was the last Rockies sweepstakes I’d ever enter or win. :(
