See, this is why I hate interleague play and the DH
We have Scott Podsednik. They have Gary Sheffield. NL teams don’t build their lineups to have a DH.
We have Hurdle......
who puts Pods into the lineup instead of Spilborghs. Is there any way to justify this?

The last time Spilly was a DH he stunk up the joint (I think he was actually starting in the game he did well in more recently). That’s not to say he’s not a better option than Pods on any given day, but perhaps Hurdle is remembering that? I don’t know.

I just opened up Gameday and it’s a new version, with 3D! I’m not sure what to do with myself. I can’t wait to see what it looks like once the game actually starts.

Heh. It’s 4pm and I’m still at work for at least another 1-1/2 hours. I quite prefer the West coast start times, so I’m actually at home for the whole game rather than following the first couple innings at work, missing the whole middle while I commute home, than catching the last couple innings when I get home.
She did before June '07.

Sundays
It’s only slightly better than a noon (my time) start time on Sunday, but not by much. I have church on Sundays at noon and don’t get home until after 3, so normally I miss Sunday games entirely. But at least with the 10am, I can follow it for the bit of time in between my shower and when I leave.
