Putting Jeff on the DL might be a good thing.

I don’t know how I feel about Redman as the replacement though.

There aren’t really any good alternative options though I guess.

Why do pitchers go so long, as this article suggests, without mentioning being hurt. It can destroy them.

Jeff Francis IS Mark Redman part deux …...they are the same pitcher. The copy is just younger than the original.

A DL stint gives him a nice excuse to have a few minor league rehab starts. The Tigers send Willis to A ball, and the Phillies sent Myers to AAA just this week. Francis is lucky to get the DL time.

I miss baseball. Can we fire Clint Hurdle and Dan O'Dowd now?

my hope....

is that Redman has a couple of good starts and then becomes part of the Rockies’ fire saie. A couple good games and someone like the Phillies should become very interested.
