Game #101: Stults vs. Wells
Los Angeles Dodgers @ Colorado Rockies
Kip Wells makes his return to the majors tonight, his first start since the second Opening Day and his first appearance since April 28. It goes without saying, but a good start in Wells' return would be huge. The Dodgers are 2-1 at Coors Field this season and 6-3 overall against the Rockies. It would be nice to see that at 6-6 after Wednesday's afternoon game (but I'm getting ahead of myself).
Let's see the Rockies get the better of Eric Stults tonight!
Go Rockies!

Starting
for the Dodgers tomorrow will be Clayton Kershaw, who will be recalled from Double-A to do so. Jason Johnson had been scheduled to start.

Kip "What the hell?" Wells
I live out of market but hear from many sources outside of the Rockies community about how stocked the farm system is. Is there no one who can deliver a performance equal to that of Wells such as Baker?
Another question..why would Hurdle leave Wells in that long?
What’s with the fail theme. Is that an inside joke?
InToddwetrust
by InToddwetrust on Jul 21, 2008 7:57 PM MDT 0 recs
Can't answer the first question
But as to the other two…
Hurdle apparently operates on a different plane than the rest of the world. You’ve no doubt seen the term HurdleLogic here on the Row. It’s all we can figure.
As for the Fail theme…well, it’s not really an inside joke, just the general theme of this lost season. Much failure all around.
Put me out of my misery. Please!
