PrintI've been looking through some stats from players we have in the Dominican Summer League (DSL). There's a few players who are having great years who are repeats from last year - Juan Gonzalez, for example, is putting up stellar numbers this year (2.36 ERA) after he did the same last year (3.38 ERA).
What's the deal? What is the usual path for players who do well in the DSL? Do they get sent to Tri-City, or straight to Modesto? What's the general quality of play?
