The man from Defiance, OH has been none too good against the Rockies in his six appearances (four starts). In 23 2/3 IP, he owns a 6.46 ERA, and has allowed 17 runs on 31 hits and 17 walks. He's also allowed four home runs.
Our guy from Vancouver, British Columbia has gone 5-2 in his 12 games against the Dodgers and sports a 2.69 ERA in 77 IP. In the NL West, he's done his best against the Dodgers.

We have the right guys hot right now
if you have to pick three guys to be on top of their game, the three best power hitters would be a good place to look. If Holliday, Hawpe and Stewart can continue to provide the pop, we may just produce enough to delight more Snake fans.

I like Q, but...
He has to rank in the top 10 “worst hitters used in leadoff” this season. Great utility player/team guy, poor table setter.
This comes from the same manager that hit Cory Sullivan leadoff for how long in 04 & 05?

His CS rate is better than Neta's
but that may be do to guys like Ardoin running on him, as you tend to catch guys like that more often than not. Iannetta’s numbers aren’t great, but few run on him.

It's not as glaring an error as our leadoff decisions
but Atkins hitting in front of Stewart and Iannetta is another miscue in our lineup decisions. Holliday-Hawpe-Stewart-Iannetta-Atkins is how the middle really should go, if performance is to be the measuring stick.
Hawpe and his .400 OBP
should be hitting either 2nd or 3rd in front of Holliday
