at least here in Colorado, we don’t have the Humidity.
And speaking of humidity…..I did several jobs in Florida and Miami…...near the beach there was a breeze. One job was just in land where we had a little of that sea breeze…just enough to teese.

For a while we were doing great
early summer was filled with rain that slowed the temperature rise and kept the grass growing. Now it feels like weeks since rain and it’s starting to show.

that has a the record high of like 116.

I was from North Central area
as a kid (near Ponca City) and as soon as the Wheat got cut, and the fields got disked….around the end of July…it was just always shot up.
But Oklahoma summers are why I love Fall so much. That big rain, that came in the middle of September that would break the heat, was like a gift from God, that I so looked forward to.

I've been to 3 Marlin games in Miami
and the best part: You don’t have to walk far. Park close to the stadium. I mean I’ve seen more cars at the movie theater at Colorado Mills Mall.

OT: ERA
This has absolutely nothing to do with the Rockies, but one of my favorite players, Rich Harden – yes, I know he’s on the Cubs now, but I really can’t root against him (only his team). So, I know he has 100 innings on the year, and his ERA is better than anyone else in the league (2.04). But he doesn’t show up on the ERA leaders. Is that because he hasn’t pitched over 100 innings in the NL?

Ianneta is O-1, but with 3 BB….Yorvit would be 0-4 with 3Ks. Now, why can’t we get rid of Yorvit for good, that way Hurdle won’t be tempted to try to start him….so frustrating!

Now we got 4 at home vs. WASH, then 3 vs. Padres…then cap off the homestand with 3 against Diamondbacks. Rox could be right up there batlling for 1st place in the division by the middle of the month. I remind you, Colorado was 6.5 games back on SEPT.15 last year. Believe baby!
