You can tell these games are meaningful for the Padres as we got Dirk Hayhurst's second career start last night and Josh Geer's MLB debut tonight. It's like the Padres really want us to get our hopes up that we're still in this division race. Thanks San Diego.
Dodgers lead the D-backs 1-0 at the time of posting. Maybe we really are still in this thing.

may be a poor word choice. While Morales hints at being head strong, I believe Jimenez has been quite receptive to coaching, including changing his delivery two years ago. Neither has ever come across as a head case, in the true sense of the phrase.
Maybe
too broad a statement. I was referring to the ability to regain focus or make mechanical adjustments within an inning.

This is just sad...
I’m not feeling the folding up by the majority of the batting order. We’re down by 4 not 14. Granted their pitching has been decent I guess, but hitting stuff right to people…every batter.

I think all the up and down has really hurt Speier...
they bring him up for a bit then send him back to AAA. I know the AAA season is ending now so he should get to stay here, but it’s so far between outings for him, he just never gets settled.
