this team is utter rubbish...
Rockies will also have the services of Register tonight
although with Cook on the mound, his debut is more likely to occur tomorrow night…
Hurdle
in one of his post games last week told reporters OBP, OPS you guys pay more attention to that stuff then I do. Hurdle relies on 60’s and 70’s style baseball and his man crushes.

Stew's still K'ing in his second stint
but the rate has been between 22-23%, down from the 40’s, which is acceptable for a rookie. What’s been big for Stew is the jump in walk rate since returning, now around 14-15 %. If he continues to add XBH’s, he-ll make a good five hole down the road.

As far as Herges goes
I don’t mind the homer as much as I do the traffic. Five baserunners in two innings is quite a few, and that’s notall, but he had 20 in 10.1 innings in July. He’s not fooling anyone anymore, and when you hear the term fungible reliever, they are talking about this guy. There’s nothing in Matt’s stuff we won’t miss or can’t replace, and it might be good to see if some of these minor league guys are worth keeping on or protecting on the 40 man roster.
