Livan a Rockie
This just in -- Livan Hernandez is a Rockie. Here's Rosenthal's piece on it:
Rokies give up nothing and will pay remainder of his salary for year. Minnesota basically allowed the Rockies' waiver claim to stand. I'm OK with this -- he's gotta be better than De Los Santos. If he's not, no great harm done.
Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

Hernandez will
arrive in Denver on Friday and pitch a side session later in the day. After that, the coaching staff will determine if/when he will join the rotation.

Except that he's not replacing De Los Santos
he will be replacing either Rusch or George of the Rose.
I wonder if he named his kid Jesus cause he likes the name?
Thought Clint Hurdle should be fired before it was cool.

this is actually a serious question
after we just dropped that series to Washington….what do we need Livan for? Unless he can hold every team to 1 or 2 runs it won’t matter. And even if he DID….the season is over now anyways
Can we trade him to the Mets now? or do we have to put him on waivers again to do that?
It maybe a week late…but if we can…..start to freakin fire sale, and blow this team up.
