I am starting to think
that Hurdle is history once this season of fail is done. There was a tone in DOD’s comments the other day that suggests that the FO finally has a clue. I do, however, think he’ll be persuaded to “resign” gracefully, saying that he’s “just not the person to lead this team to the next level.”

I don’t think he’ll be gone after the season (there were a lot of issues this year, and not all of them had anything to do with him). But I do actually think that if they don’t start well next season, he could be gone. I’m thinking they’ll give it a couple months. I know I could be delusional and they could just keep using excuses (injuries, etc.), but I can’t see them sticking with the status quo for too long if things start bad and stay bad for too long. At some point you have to make a change, and I think the pressure to make a change would be higher than in previous years, giving the let down this year after the success of last year.
