Oh wait.., sorry... wrong blog. Alright, full disclosure, my attention to this game thread will be virtually non-existent tonight unless something really bad is happening in Los Angeles.
Of course, now my bleeding heart liberalness has me realizing that last night something that actually was really bad happened in LA, and I want to express my genuine sympathies to the victims of yesterday's Metrolink crash and wishes of safety to those in Galveston as well right now. Okay, I'm going to go donate to the Red Cross, call all my immediate family and then feel a little less guilty about watching USC vs tOSU, but once again I'm at the point of having to disclose that I might not be around much this evening.
Go Rockies.

Tie game
Yeah, I’m the only person here. Figure I might as well follow online. Especially since my college team already delivered a beatdown of epic proportions earlier today, so I’m feeling pretty zen about everything else, Rockies included.
Although I do have it one, I don’t care who wins between USC and OSU, since I generally hate both of them (sorry, Rox Girl!).

I’ve grown used to the comtempt. I figure it’s as if I were a beauty queen and everybody hated me I would pretend it was because they were jealous even thouugh it would probably be because I was pretentious snot. So, I guess I’m saying I’ll pretend to assume it’s just jealousy even though I suspect otherwise.

Don’t worry, I’ve been in your position before with other teams/sports. But you went to USC, right? So I can’t begrudge fans who actually went to a school. It’s the fans that are just frontrunners that I have issues with.
I’ll console myself with the fact that you got your QB coach (or is Sarkisian the OC now?) from my school. So clearly you owe us. ;-)

after tonight’s imminent loss we will be tied with the giants for 4th place. I realize we are far out of the playoff chase, but it would be nice to win a game.

This season went way south in a hurry. Losing to the Giants would be a huge embarrassment.
It's my birthday tomorrow,

What a rallying send-off, guys. Just the way I wanted to leave Coors until June ‘09. I didn’t even ask them to win, since I knew that was beyond their capabilities. I just asked them to not look totally inept while losing. Guess what? They looked totally inept while losing!
In conclusion, the Rockies hate my guts. Oh yeah? Up YOURS!
