Is anybody watching this?
What’s the crowd like? Have a lot of them left?
I’m at work still (don’t ask), and I’m wondering if the train in half an hour is going to be crowded with drunk, annoying Giants fans, or if a lot of them left awhile ago to catch the train half an hour ago.
Looks thin.

Hopefully it was sparse to begin with and a lot already left. I’ll have to chance it and hope I can get a cab to get me to the train station in time.
I once got stuck on a late Giants train that was standing room only, and some guy dressed as Davey Crockett had to talk down a drunk knife-wielding dude. True story.
Travel on the 7 train in Queens during the middle of the night.
Not something you want to do often.

Oh, no doubt
Not that I’ve had that experience, but I can imagine. The other horrible train experience is taking late train on Halloween (or whatever weekday is right before or after). Masses of people get dressed up and ride the train up and down the peninsula going to various bars. It’s a nightmare (sometimes quite literally, depending on the costume of choice of whoever is standing in the aisle next to you).
