Having lost two of three to the Astros, the Rockies have an off-day today. And that's a good thing--mainly because they're not going to interfere with the Broncos game tonight.

Discuss anything. Here's something to start off with: Now that Clint Hurdle has admitted that he has conditional love for Dexter Fowler this September, how long will it be before Fowler and others receive more playing time?

Assuming everyone here is a Broncos fan = bad

I still like them, if only because Jay Cutler plays quarterback for them (Vanderbilt record with Jay Cutler at quarterback: 11-35; Vanderbilt record since Jay Cutler graduated: 11-15, including 2-0 this season.) But I think we’ve already established that not everybody here is a Broncos fan, or an Avs fan, or a Nuggets fan. In my case at least, I don’t have a hometown MLB team, or an NFL team, which I think makes me free to root for any team I want to.

Brisbane doesn’t have an NFL or a MLB so I guess I’m in the same boat. I follow the Rockies because I followed the Broncos, who I only followed because they have the same mascot as my local rugby league team.

Still, what’s with all these off days or day games. It sucks having to either get up before 5am or go without baseball.
