I’ll probably be one of the only robots not strongly rooting against the Dodgers.
Is that for personal hatred for the Phillies, or do you have another reason for supporting the Dodgers?
Like desire for NL West success, lack of a repeat winner, etc?

No hatred of the Phillies, both of those other reasons you mentioned crossed my mind.
A strong Dodgers team ultimately helps the rest of the division, I feel, and doesn’t allow the other teams to get away with mediocrity. Plus, they’re going to have money regardless of how many playoff games they have, so it’s not like rooting for a quick exit helps as much as it would with the D-backs or Padres.
The TBLA folk are nicer too...so I guess there's that.

I hate the Dodgers so guess it's the Phils for me.
But if the Angels get in, I’ll pull for them. Not sure what I’ll do if it ends us NYY vs. LAD.

The only thing I know for certain for the remainder of the postseason is that I will be against the Yankees whomever they face.
I have positive feelings for both the Dodgers and Angels as a whole, and somewhat of a desire to see a back-to-back win for an NL team in the Phillies. I’d probably be okay with any of those three securing a victory.
ALCS will obviously be easy for me, though.
If there’s a Dodgers/Angels WS, there may be an opportunity for me to go to a world series game. That’d be cool.

I mean I want to watch baseball but I don't want to watch Dodger or Yankee baseball.
It reminds me of when I was little and there were these two kids that were annoying and everyone hated hanging out with. When my best friend was with me I didn’t mind it as much. But when my best friend moved away it was torture. Now that the Rockies are out of it, it’s like my friend moved away.

It's probably not quite as hilarious in hindsight, if you're not
in the midst of the loopiness. But I definitely remember giggling quite a bit.
I was getting loopy at the ballpark.
I was heckling people for leaving in the 15th…and then I leave in the 18th…lol…
It was a completely bizarre and fun experience. I was sitting in left field right behind Matt Holliday…

It was actually a good game..

Of course, I’ve been to AT&T a lot more recently than Coors (I went to game at Coors probably 2-3 years ago, and that’s it since I moved out here) so it could be Coors nostalgia, but Coors is still better.

Like I said, my experience at AT&T
is far more recent thus fresher in my memory (other than what I’ve seen on tv). One thing about AT&T that I don’t like is the giant Coke bottle. Yeah, it’s cool at first, but I just don’t like it. It seems too gimmicky. Ditto goes for the giant mitt.
I also like the bullpen area at Coors much better (at AT&T it’s down the foul lines), plus the tree area in the outfield. AT&T has nothing like that.
I heard a story that they forgot to put the bullpens in the design of AT&T
The park was literally going up and they were like “where are the bullpens gonna go”. I can’t verify that it’s true but if it is someone must have gotten fired

There may be some that have reasons which is fine
but I heard on the radio last week that like the four worst ranked umps were all doing the postseason. That’s unacceptable.

Like 2010 should be taken care of now. The call against Mauer in that Yankee game was one of the most hideous things I’ve ever seen.

Did anyone else see the USAToday article about the various blown calls and a possibility of expanding the replay mechanism?
