Good too see Darin Holcomb off to a good start since he had a brutal Hawaii Winter Ball season in 2008 (.159/.279/.239). It's only one game, but I'd rather not see Wilin Rosario strike out three times each contest. I'm a big fan of Craig Baker and I hope we see him with the big club some time in 2010.

If you recall

Holcomb was one of the guys Gustafson told us to keep our eyes on.

I do recall

which is good, considering our lack of close prospects at the corner IF positions

He got a chance to hit against Strasburg tonight

Grounded out.

Is there a listing somewhere

of what players are assigned to play in which leagues? Winter Ball, Hawaii league, etc…

Rockies in AFL

play for Scottsdale. Hawaii baseball folded after last season.

So the AFL

is the only league the Rockies participate in currently?

by Muzia on Oct 16, 2009 10:46 AM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Only one that is sponsored

by MLB. Many MLBers will go south and play in their home countries.
