they’ve become the team I’m pulling for by default. Nobody wants the damn Yankees in there, I am equally opposed to the Dodgers winning, and I have decided to hold a grudge against the Phillies for the time being.

It’s so frustrating. I keep thinking it’d be easier to concentrate on homework and having an actual life, but then I look back to past offseasons, and I realize that I couldn’t get anything done the first two or three weeks after. Being a baseball fan sucks sometimes.

Baseball gods are repaying the Angels

After our defeat on Monday, I was at a bar in Lodo with PF, when I saw a replay on TV of the Angels celebrating by dousing an Adenhart jersey with beer and champagne. I knew nothing good could come of it, and the last remaining team I was rooting for suddenly became a little less bright.
