At least Oriole Park at Camden Yards was one of the ballparks that started the current trend of baseball parks.
While the team might not be great on the field, at least the ballpark is pretty good, not to mention the Boog Powell’s BBQ sandwiches there. Good stuff.
Is it just me
or do the Orioles end every season playing horrible. Sometimes they actually start well; last year they were in first at the end of April and I believe in 2005 they were in first in June. It just seems like they play the last 50 games or so of every season at about a .300 winning percentage clip

Wieters, Jones, Markakis, Reimold, Arrieta, Tillman, Matusz.
I forget the name of the 3B they got from LA in the Sherrill trade, but he’s supposed to be a good prospect. That’s a fantastic core to have in the 2011 to 2013 years. Of course, not all prospects pan out. But who knows, they might have a Rays-like year in them in a couple seasons.

Don’t be surprised if the bottom of the lineup as the game progresses once Burnett is taken out of the game.

Think of most of the national media coverage involving Denver teams:
- Rockies weren’t expected to do much in 2009: Made it into the MLB playoffs.
- Broncos not expected to do much especially after volatile off-season: Off to a good 6-1 start.
- Nuggets not expected to get back to level of Western Conference Finals, Off to a good start this season.
- Avalanche expected to continue to struggle, Off to a very good start.
Things starting to look promising for all four Denver sports franchises.

The recently maligned Baltimore defense played smash-mouth football yesterday.
That defense rattled Kyle Orton early, and held the Broncos offense to around 200 yards or so.
But then again, when the Dolphins muster only around 100 yards of offense, and still win thanks to two Ted Ginn kickoff returns and a defensive TD.
Go figure.

That was one of the more wierd plays that I've ever seen. 2 stolen bases on one pitch of the ball.

I'm surprised we haven't seen this more often, especially when these radical shifts in the infield are in use.

The shift was so severe. Feliz was almost at 2nd. Heads up play by Damon.

Although I think that the Ryan Howards of the world are more concerned with other types of hitting. I think that probably the same trait that makes them likely to be dead-pull hitters makes them unlikely to practice bunting.

Haven't posted for awhile and am starting to miss it
