Not that it would happen but...we trade Hawpe for Santana. The Mets do need 1B man. I think the odds of a trade going down are 1 in a million. If it happens though you heard from me first.

I think the only way the Rockies could do this trade is they gave up some high value prospects i.e. top 30 minor league players and if the Mets assume about half or more of Santana salary.
