Diamondbacks Top 10 Prospects

As a Rockies fan, you should read this.  The beginning of the story praises the Rox and bashes the D-Backs.  And this is their Top 10 list, I love it!  I mean, like the rest of us, I do not like Arizona.  But to have something that should be praising them or seemingly trying to make them sound like a good team instead bashing them and praising the Rox to me is priceless...

This is better suited for a FanShot as it is centered around a single article.

That said, this is a good article—and the D-Backs’ number 5 prospect is now a Tiger.

Interesting

They have Schlereth as a top prospect, but pencil Brandon Webb as the fifth starter, sandwiched by Edwin Jackson and Ian Kennedy.

the author

couldn’t keep up with what was going on. Too much work to try and figure out who would replace Schlereth on the list

That seems strange to me

I would be surprised that their 11th top prospect is so far behind their 10th that the author didn’t think of him while making the top ten list….I had well over 40 players on my initial PuRPs list.

Lazy writing on his part.

The article was written,

and dated, on the same day that Schlereth was traded. How could the writer have kept up?

The point is the author added Jackson and Kennedy to the 2013 rotation

thereby including part of the trade, yet keeping Schlereth in there as well

I would

direct some dirty language towards you, sir, but it’d just get me in trouble.

And we all

know Russ has been waiting to ban you for a while.
