Don't that this is big news, but my fellow Rowbots might like to know.

Of course it's big news!

It means spring training is that much closer!

Very interesting to see Rosario on that list – means the Rockies might be planning to be aggressive with him this year by getting him some exposure to the big league camp. And Sal Fasano? AWESOME.

Catchers

They have to carry alot of catchers at the big league camp to handle all the pitchers they invite.

and then you gotta ruin my dreams

dreams of an awesome mustache behind the plate.

Fasano catching Cook would be the mustachiest battery. We’d need to bring Rollie Fingers out of retirement.

I'm having baseball dreams.

The first involves just missing Opening Day somehow. I end up very upset.

The second involves us opening the season in Wrigley. Some huge guy with darker skin (name and nationality are unknown) (also not huge like Ray King, but huge like an NFL Linebacker) was on the mound for us, and the person doing the lineups was walking around the field with a mic calling out the lineups and looking like an idiot (it felt like a summer camp organizer or something). Apparently Spills is batting leadoff, 2B Jeff Baker batting 2nd, and then “either C Chris Iannetta or 1B Todd Helton is batting 3rd” and I started to react “What on earth do you mean ‘either’?” and then I woke up.

The third is at Mile High, against the Phillies (we’re getting closer, got the right city and right team…just wrong stadium), and apparently we have someone we got off waivers or picked up after a rough separation from the Phills. Cole Hamels is pitching, and he burns a pitch way inside, which this guy swings at anyway. He gets angry and throws the bat at Hamels, takes off and knocks him over, goes to 2B and tries to fight Utley, and the next thing I know, he’s in CF picking a fight out there.

And then I woke up. And we’re still like 2 months away from opening day.

Dead serious.

This happens every year around this time, I start having dreams about opening day. Typically very weird.

Excellent

I recently had a dream that I bumped into Rox Girl in Philadelphia by a ship teetering over a giant abyss, a la Garden State…and later with Russ in a cafeteria clone of a dorm eatery in Budapest.

My Rockies dreams really worry me. I hate wondering why Craig House is back in the bullpen or what Pedro Cerrano is doing playing second base…or why Mike McKenry is suddenly a left handed submarine knuckleballer.

5 hour break between classes

There’s only so much to do during that time.

Follow me on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/rockiesmagicnum

Ideas:

Homework (not really)
Work out (or do something physical)
Take a Nap
Get a job
Get more classes
Read Purple Row
I personally pick the last two if I have a break of 5 hours, although every now and again engineering homework does pile up and must be completed.

I already did all the undergrad engineering homework

I’m in grad school. I earned the time wasting.

I wasn’t sleepy

I work 3 days a week

I only have 4 more classes for my MS, all offered in the Fall

I WAS reading Purple Row. I’m a columnist! I have to know who to make fun of!

Also I watched an episode of L&O:SVU, ATH, and the first half of PTI. And drank a beer.
