I really don't like this

I don’t like wild pitchers not being under our watchful eyes during ST.

How much input

do you think the Rox will have in how their players are handled. I’m hoping quite a bit, but realistically probably not as much as we would like. In the heat of battle they may be sending someone out there too long. I’m not sure yet how I feel about the WBC. I am interested in watching some of the matchups, but I would be furious if any of our guys get hurt during the WBC.

true that

We have some solid talent playing

Baldo
Corpas
CDOOMI
Hawpe

We have
There’ll be two on the Mexican (Augustin Murillo and Augie Ojeda) and Australian (Travis Blackley and Trent Oeltjen) squads, and one each playing for the Canadian (Luke Carlin), Puerto Rico (Felipe Lopez), Venezuelan (Gerardo Parra) and Dominican Republic (Tony Peña) teams.

You have the edge in numbers

we have the edge in critical players to the team.

Yeah I don't mean to be haughty

But we have 3 starters and a closer starting. Not to minimize Grilli, but mid relief isn’t QUITE as premium.

Still, if these guys go down, we’re sunk.

Wasn't trying to be competitive,

especially since both Webb and Haren turned down the US team, and Haren also turned down the Mexican team.

Also thinking

about how some of the players are taking it if we are pleading w/ them not to play. I wonder if it has made any of the players upset and how this will effect our relationships w/ guys like JDLR and Vinny for that matter.
