Yeah, totally doesn't count

People think I look like a stoner and I’m actually not. By the way, when I was heading back from spring training in ’07, I got pulled over in Arizona and had my car searched for drugs.

It's how

small towns earn revenue. My dad once got a speeding ticket on I-10 for going 6 MPH over — in the far east of the state, driving back to Tucson.

The cop gave Dad a ticket KNOWING there was no way he was gonna drive two hours to fight it.

My dad got pulled over once

because the cop thought he had an open bottle of vodka. Turned out it was a water bottle and my dad has never had a drink in his life. The officer felt silly and apologized, my dad didn’t mind, because he’d rather the guy do his job even if wrong sometimes.

by holly96 on Feb 25, 2009 3:48 PM MST up reply actions

Well

That’s never been an issue for me. I’ve been pulled over twice for legitimate reasons and then had my car searched.

But

did your dad have a water bottle full of vodka? I hear that’s what the kids are doing now… so they can sneak it into their mush pits and things.
