Rockies acquire Matt Murton

I just read that the Rockies aquired Murton from the A's for Corey Wimberly. Wimberly was considered the 26th best in the Rockies system by BA.
I nothing this trade as it looks like depth from one position for depth at another but dealing with Beane has always left a bad taste since the trade that shall not be named which had us give up Jermaine Dye for belly button lint and a ho-ho. What do you think this implies if anything?
