Best single game pitching performance for 1996.

What has been the Rockies greatest single game pitching performance?

Ok, ok, ok, pitching, Coors Field, Mile High, altitude.  Words not commonly associated with good things for pitchers.  After several days of scouring over mountains, piles, pages, rows, columns, so many numbers that my head still hurts.  I have compiled a list of the best single game pitching performances by the Rockies and am asking for your help in determining the top spot.

Here are the previous years winners:

1993 tie - April 15, 1993.  David Nied pitches Colorado's first complete game. W 5-3.
1993 tie - June 26, 1993.  Reynoso defeats the Giants.  W 5-1.
1994 - June 21, 1994.  Nied gets the Rockies first shutout against Houston.  W 8-0.
1995 -  October 1, 1995.  Rockies bullpen allows 1 ER in 7 IP and Rockies win the NL Wild Card. W 10-9.

1.  May 5, 1996.  Rockies @ Marlins.  Kevin Ritz CG against the Marlins.  W 5-4.
Ritz: 9 IP. 7 H. 3 ER. 3 BB. 5 K.

2.  May 19, 1996.  Cardinals @ Rockies.  Mark Thompson CG against the Cards. W 10-3.
Thompson: 9 IP. 7 H. 2 ER. 1 BB. 3 K.

3.  June 13, 1996.  Phillies @ Rockies.  Bryan Rekar defeats Schilling and the Phillies. W 4-1.
Rekar: 8 IP. 4 H. 1 ER. 2 BB. 1 K.

4.  June 27, 1996.  Rockies @ Dodgers.  Kevin Ritz CG against LA.  W 13-1.
Ritz: 9 IP. 6 H. 1 ER. 1 BB. 6 K.

5. July 3, 1996.  Rockies @ Giants.  Jamey Wright's first start and win. W 3-2.
Wright: 6 IP. 4 H. 1 ER. 2 BB. 4 K.

6. August 6, 1996.  Marlins @ Rockies.  Mark Thompson's shutout against Florida. W 11-0.
Thompson: 9 IP. 7 H. 0 ER. 4 BB. 4 K.

7. August 24, 1996.  Pirates @ Rockies.  Mark Thompson CG against the Pirates.  W 9-3.
Thompson: 9 IP. 8 H. 3 ER. 1 BB. 2 K.
