I thought it would be fun to try something a little bit different around here. I've always been a big fan of comic books and the graphic images they portray through the use of stylized pictures and witty words. I'm not sure how this image will come out on the Fanpost, so If you have trouble viewing it, or if it's too small it can also be viewed at my photobucket website.

The premise for idea is based off of two things..

first was the reaction that the media was giving the Rockies for the loss of Matt Holliday. I’ve never seen a team’s projections lowered so much after losing a left fielder. Pitching is what wins championships and just like in 2007 the Rockies will have to rely on the young arms of Ubaldo, FrankieMo and perhaps even Chacin. The other instigator for this idea was from the suspension of Scott Van Pelt after criticizing Bud Selig for being the highest paid commissioner in sports. Not only does Selig not deserve this award, but he could be considered the worst commisioner in sports after the manner he has handled steroids and the All-Star game. So I hope you enjoy this and I appreciate your feedback.

I used to make Rockies comics.

Nope.

I made them for the amusement of my family. They had plenty of our in-jokes about the Rockies, but they were generally funny stuff. Not that I’d post them for fear of being completely embarrassed.
