Big night, and we came home with Thundersticks!!
Here’s a link to more pics from last night’s game.
We started in the Beach area outside the RF fence so the boys could play in the sand. They ended up on the video board between innings. One of the videos I uploaded is of the screen, but I think it was a tad late. We then went to the upper deck and sat in the seats furthest from the field. It was pretty foggy during the game. After the upper deck we made our way to the field level, bought some cotton candy and spent the last two innings in the front row on the third base side near the ball girl. I asked her to autograph my thunderstick, but she just laughed and shook her head. Ichiro was a big favorite at the game, and the Japanese fans were loud with their thundersticks for every one of his AB’s. He hit a triple late in the game. One of the pictures is of Fukodome facing the Cuban pitcher. I was a little disappointed because the programs didn’t list the players numbers, and whenever a player was introduced to the crowd it was in their native language. So all game all we heard was Japanese and Spanish. In the future I will have to print a roster from the internet before attending.

BTW...
My son is wearing a Boston cap, it was his little league team last year so I have to put up with it. Besides now whenever I see the Red B I think of his baseball team, not the other..whatever they are.
I also wore my Rockies hat and 2007 NL Champs shirt, gotta represent yo!

Boston hat and Rox hat?
Must’ve looked like a family feud.

It wasn't the Boston Red Sox..
It was the Clifton Red Sox, I’m not sure what the B stands for. Although it was a poor school district so who knows.
