Purple Row Prediction Competition: Week 3
What is up everyone. It's time to make your week three predictions. Usual rules apply. pick winning team, final score, and winning pitcher for each game from Monday through Sunday. 1 point for winning team, 2 points for winning pitcher, and three points for final score. Also, add a crazy prediction for the week for 5 bonus points.
Here is next weeks schedule http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/teams/schedule?team=col
I'll update standings sometime tomorrow after the game. Get your predictions in by game time Monday.
Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).

So you’re predicting that the Rockies will trade for Ramon Troncoso, and that he will get the victory against his former team on Friday?

Which was why I decided against it. :) All in good fun – I like having you around – keeps things interesting.
You probably jinxed them now.
"Better move your rental cars, I am about to take BP."

Jinxed the Rockies?
Yeah, that’s the general idea. ;-)
Although, I did predict the result last night and 1/2 of the score.
Insert witty and/or humorous signature here.
Yea – I was the only other one that picked the bad guys to win. Although I still wish i’d been wrong.
On another note – I really enjoyed the game I went to at the BOB last week – although it has kind of an interesting feel to the stadium – feels like you’re in an arena, although they opened the roof and the windows. The beer was EXPENSIVE.
"Better move your rental cars, I am about to take BP."
-Glendon Rusch
BOB/Chase
is a LOT nicer when the roof and windows are open. (Although, obviously, they’ve got some pretty durned good reasons to keep ’em closed, when they do) Beer IS expensive, although the food has gotten cheaper.
Which game did you attend?
And yeah, that crazy flag lady has been there pretty much as long as I can remember. There was a point in the game last night when the Rockies had a couple runners on base, and then a jet flew over. We were convinced that she was trying to call in an airstrike via semaphore.

I went to the Cards game last Monday (4/13). Davis tossed a heck of a game, but lost. Even though he’s a DBack, I really find myself rooting for him to do well with all the went through.
My uncle and about 15 guys split seasons, 6 seats about 4 rows down from the top right behind home plate. We took my grandpa who spent his childhood years selling popcorn at Cardinals games in St. Louis.
My aunt said that she rarely sees the windows open, I assume it’s kind of at the discretion of the SP?
$10.50 for a 22oz beer was rather ridiculous, but had a good time nonetheless. Sad to see how empty it was though – I hope they can turn the attendance around a little bit.
"Better move your rental cars, I am about to take BP."
-Glendon Rusch
I'm not entirely sure who decides the environmental conditions.
I know when Schilling was here, he used to whine about how the ball carried more with the roof open, but I don’t know that they necessarily responded by closing it everytime he pitched.
The only thing that’s going to increase attendance, IMO, is success.

4/25 Rockies 3, Dodgers 1, WP: Jimenez

Crazier prediction than DbacksSkins: Haren throws a nine inning no-hitter, but the Rockies get the run when an errant Mark Reynolds throw allows Dex to get to second, he’s sacrificed to third and scores on a passed ball.
Hey,
Wouldn’t be the first time.
That prediction is so crazily obscure that I think it should be worth 50 points or something.

4/21 Rockies 5, D’Backs, 0, Morales
4/22 Rockies 2, D’Bakcs 3, Haren
4/24 Rockies 5, Dodgers 4, Kuo
4/25 Rockies 6, Dodgers 3, Jimenez
4/26 Rockies 20, Dodgers, 0 (I’m attending the game, so I need to to it) Marquis
Crazy prediction, every player on the lineup from Monday (including Marquis) has a home run this week.
You and Poseidon apparently both think the Rockies are making a trade with the Dodgers this week.
Either the score or the winning pitcher on Friday needs to be adjusted.
