because when people load the game and the image loads
they’ll be loading the picture from fangraphs.com, not purplerow.com, and that costs them money.
It’s not really a huge issue, but it’s poor form in general. It’s usually an issue when people are leeching like 1024×768 pictures with massive resolution, so they’re pulling MB at a time from the original hosting site

Again, though, we kind of have a reciprocal relationship with FanGraphs right now...
Use their graphs, but also keep an eye on their blog work and send visitors over there when applicable.

I figured out a way to do it...
right click link, click properties, copy image URL from there.
Eschew Obfuscation!
okay, the image is now in your clipboard
You’ll go to your game wrap, and click the insert image icon, select the “Import” tab and then paste that URL into the box with Ctrl+v.
Then do you have...
a context-menu item called “Save picture as”?
…and “Copy Shortcut” is the same as “Copy image location”, if you don’t want to have to host it yourself…
Not quite...
I think what may have been happening is that Jabberwocky actually had to click through the image on the Scoreboard page at FanGraphs to the game page itself and then save the image URL from there. So in that case copy shortcut would have only copied the link to that page and not the image.
