Facing JDLR that has to suck except DLR has been fantastic this afternoon, I would argue best performance by a Rockie this year. Morales did look great in his first start though.

Again I think it was a tough decision
but Hurdle left DLR in 1 inning too long.

our bullpen was used up last night, the guy had a good thing going and was only on 80 pitches.
Normally I would say the same as low as the pitch count was
but based on the previous inning he was losing the strike zone a little and barely escaped that jam. It would also be a completely differnent story if we had a run or 2.

No, but it just seems like pointless second guessing to me. If Barmes had hit it the same way
but not right at someone, we’d all be singing a different tune.
Also, in that situation, I’m not sure the difference between Fowler and Barmes is all that huge.
